ABOUT THE TOOL
How the Minecraft Sphere Generator works
A Minecraft sphere cannot be built reliably from one flat circle. This generator divides the full sphere into horizontal layers, showing the exact X/Z block layout for every Y level from the bottom to the top.
Set the diameter, choose Hollow or Filled, and start at Layer 1. Build each displayed grid at the shown height, then move to the next layer. The current-layer and full-sphere material counts update automatically.
Designed for actual block building
Every colored cell represents one Minecraft block. Center axes keep the plan aligned, and Download current blueprint saves the exact grid currently shown. The layout works for both Java and Bedrock builds.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a 3D Minecraft sphere generator?
Yes. The tool represents the full 3D sphere as a sequence of horizontal block layers that you build from bottom to top.
How do I build a sphere from the layer plans?
Build Layer 1 at the bottom, move up one Y level, and repeat the displayed plan for each layer until you reach the top.
What is the difference between hollow and filled spheres?
Hollow mode keeps only the outer shell and saves materials. Filled mode occupies the entire volume and is useful for solid terrain or sculptural forms.
Does the block total cover the whole sphere?
Yes. The statistics distinguish the blocks in the current layer from the total required for every layer of the sphere.
